Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week

March 8, 2016

Multiple sclerosis can rob your ability to walk, steal your memories and even leave you temporarily blind. 400,000 people in America suffer from this disease and 2.5 million do worldwide. The week of March 6-13 is known as Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week.

The National MS Society believes that moving is not just something you can or can’t do, but rather is who you are. By hanging orange ribbons on trees, the society believes it can build awareness about the disease.

The National MS Society is launching a campaign that allows MS patients to share their stories and interact with other patients. View and share images, videos, and stories as you learn about the solutions that have been discovered to overcome the challenges of MS with the hashtag #WeAreStrongerThanMS on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
