January 12, 2018

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this coming weekend!

4 Ingredient Paleo Mocha Frappe

(Via Beaming Baker)

Sometimes waking up in the morning is easier when you have a sweet treat to look forward to. This super simple paleo, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free mocha frappe only calls for four ingredients. In order to impress friends and family with this breakfast blend or to whip it up for yourself in the early A.M., you will just need cold coffee, bananas, unsweetened almond milk and unsweetened cocoa powder. You can also add your own fun little toppings such as coconut whip, chocolate syrup or chocolate curls if you desire. Find the full recipe here!

Crispy Oven Baked Sweet Potato

(Via Nurture My Gut)

A great alternative to regular fries, sweet potato fries are so much fun to experiment with when it comes to spices and flavors. The most important thing about keeping these fries great is making sure they are nice and crispy - no one wants a soggy sweet potato fry. The key to keeping them crisp is cutting the potatoes into matchstick sizes and in the ingredients, of course. You will need avocado or coconut oil, tapioca flour, onion powder and some salt. Feel free to play around with spices and even add a little turmeric as a seasoning, as the spice is highly beneficial for those with autoimmune disease. Click here for the full recipe.

Skinny Shrimp Scampi with Zucchini Noodles

(Via Just a Taste) You won’t even miss traditional pasta after you realize how delicious and filling this “skinny” shrimp scampi is with zucchini noodles. You’ll need olive oil, jumbo shrimp, minced garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes, white wine, parsley and of course zucchini cut into noodles. You can either buy pre-spiralizer zucchini noodles or make them yourself with a mandolin or a spiralizer. Find the full recipe here!
