As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this coming weekend!

Turmeric Oatmeal

Start your day off with a nice sunny bowl of oatmeal. This golden bowl of oats is super simple and the floral-like taste of turmeric pairs perfectly with fruit. Here is the opportunity to start off the day with some of your favorite fruits! You will need a half cup of whole rolled oats, 1 cup of water, a splash of the milk of your choice and last but not least, a half teaspoon of turmeric powder. The rest is up to you to add all of your favorite oatmeal toppings like berries, seeds, nuts, coconut flakes, mint leaves and add a bit of sweetness with some maple syrup.


Glowing Spiced Lentil Soup

On top of turmeric being extremely beneficial for anti-inflammatory purposes, spicy food is even better, so the combination truly is a great one for your body to experience. Warm up for the winter with this delicious spiced up soup. You're going to need olive oil, onions, garlic, cinnamon, cardamom, diced tomatoes, full-fat coconut milk, red lentils, vegetable broth, sea salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (or cayenne) to taste, baby spinach, lime juice and the magic ingredient of the day, turmeric


Golden Milk Ice Cream

Make it to share or make it just for you, this creamy and healthy treat will not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but it will also fight inflammation. What more could you ask for? If you do not have an ice cream maker this recipe has an alternative method for you. You can find the instructions to make this treat here, but for the most part what you’ll need is coconut milk (or coconut cream to make it even creamier), fresh ginger, maple syrup, sea salt, ground cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom (optional), vanilla and of course, turmeric.
