MS Views and News to Host 7 Events Before End of 2015

There is a not-for-profit organization helping MS patients around the world by enhancing their knowledge of multiple sclerosis through the internet as well as live seminars. MS Views and News not only makes sure to benefit everyone suffering from the disease, but medical providers, caregivers and family and friends of the patients as well.

During the home stretch of 2015 the organization will be hosting seven educational events targeted towards these groups of people in Ohio, South Carolina, Indiana, Florida and Alabama. These events will inform their audiences through presentations, videos, articles and featured guest speakers.

On the 22nd of October in Mason, Ohio at the Cincinnati Marriott Hotel, the event “EMPOWERING MS Communities in AMERICA’S HEARTLAND – A Comprehensive Look at Multiple Sclerosis” will be taking place featuring guest speaker Dr. Aaron Boster. He will discuss, among other things, current disease modifying treatments, adherence, compliance, Gait Issues and MS relapse. Also, a special presentation by Sarah Grim will outline the impact of MS on family & work environment. This event will also take place on:

  • Wednesday, November 4th at the Columbia Marriott in Columbia, South Carolina
  • Saturday, December 5th at the Mobile Marriott in Mobile, Alabama
  • Tuesday, December 15th at the Jacksonville Marriott in Jacksonville, Florida

Florida will be the host state of 2 other events this year, the first of which is the 2015 Annual MS symposium. This event will take place on the morning of November 14th at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale-Plantation Hotel in Plantation, FL. Multiple guest speakers will talk about:

  • The Immunology of MS
  • Emerging Therapies
  • Relapse
  • Communication
  • Bladder Issues
  • MS friendly workouts

The other would be “Women’s Health and MS” with guest speaker Patricia Pagnotta, focusing on issues like bladder problems, sexual issues, nutrition, depression and symptom management. This event takes place at the Holiday Inn at Orlando Int’l Airport on Wednesday December 16th. The last event, “Everything You Want to Know about MS” is a Q&A event taking place at Embassy Suites Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday November 18th.
