Multiple Sclerosis Friendly Recipes

August 19, 2016

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this weekend.

Paleo Stuffed Mushrooms

These simple recipes can be eaten as snacks with smaller sized mushroom, or a fairly decent meal with a meaty Portobello mushroom. Be it a healthy breakfast by cracking some eggs into a large mushroom and baking it or a delicious lunch, stuffed with ground turkey and spinach, you can’t go wrong with the healthy ingredients you decide to incorporate.

Cozy Taco Soup with Ground Beef

This simple and spicy dish can be customized to your liking. Start by cooking your meat, ground beef is recommended for this recipe and then add in some veggies like diced bell peppers, onion and a can of diced tomatoes. Add some water in order to make it broth-y and let it simmer. Make sure before you eat it that you top it off with some freshly sliced avocado!

Paleo Banana Muffins

These bite-sized banana bread replicas are packed with fiber and healthy fats, and you won’t be able to stop yourself from eating them! You’ll need some ground almonds, baking soda, coconut oil, chia seeds (or flax seeds), 2 mashed bananas, vanilla, cinnamon and honey or maple syrup. After baking, allow them to cool and enjoy!
