September 2, 2016

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this weekend.

Chili Cheese Muffins

This easy gluten-free muffin recipe is made with 6 healthy ingredients and can be whipped up in a jiffy. To make my Chili Cheese Muffins you’ll need almond flour, cheddar cheese, red pepper flakes, eggs, salt, and baking soda. Really, making this savory muffin recipe is that easy!

Red Rice & Avo Salad

This is a salad with a difference. Eaten warm, it is a combination of raw and cooked ingredients. Just thinking about this salad makes my mouth water because it is tasty, filling and makes me feel fabulously healthy. I use red rice as a base ingredient for quite a few dishes. It's completely unrefined and yet has a softness to it that I haven't found wild rice. It's very pleasant to munch! http://www.msdietforwomen.com/red+rice-avo-salad

Creamsicles

All you need to make to make dairy-free Creamsicles is 6 healthy ingredients! This recipe calls for coconut milk, orange juice, lemon juice, orange extract, vanilla stevia, and powdered lecithin. Some of you may be wondering why I use lecithin in this recipe. First, lecithin is a wonderfully healthy fat and fantastic dietary supplement for the keto diet. Second, it has an incredibly rich creamy flavor. Finally, lecithin keeps the ingredients in this recipe from curdling and separating.   https://elanaspantry.com/creamsicles/
