Multiple Sclerosis Friendly Recipes

October 7, 2016

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this weekend.

Paleo Sausage Egg "McMuffin"

To make this breakfast sandwich resemble those from a certain fast-food joint (you know: the one with the freaky clown mascot), you will need some special equipment-namely, stainless steel biscuit cutters-but if you have them, this recipe is a snap. Plus, you can totally eat these sammies with your hands.

Big-O Bacon Burgers

This is a burger recipe that heaps umami on top of umami. These days, more and more restaurants and food pros are grinding bacon with beef to form their special burger blends, but like many of you, I do not have a meat grinder on hand in my kitchen. My solution? Freeze the bacon, roughly chop it, and then pulse it in your food processor before mixing it with ground beef.

Chunky Monkey "Ice Cream" Bon Bons

Who’s in the mood for a frosty, nutty, chocolatey treat? The steps are easy, but timing is key. You must wait for the “ice cream” to freeze completely (twice!) before proceeding, and then you gotta work fast. Otherwise, you’ll end up with melty brown lumps.
