Multiple Sclerosis Friendly Recipes

December 16, 2016

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this weekend.

Paleo Green Bean Casserole

Freeze! Before you make your last run to the grocery store for Thanksgiving, give this Paleo Green Bean Casserole a look. Okay, the paleo purists will argue that green beans aren’t paleo. I put them into the “okay” column of borderline vegetables. What’s involved in this paleo casserole? We’ve got some homemade paleo French’s fried onions (baked & probably the best part), fresh green beans (goodbye canned), bacon (duh), and an awesome paleo gravy.

Ham with Orange Glaze

For many people, a glazed ham is the centerpiece of a Christmas dinner. The main ingredient in the glaze, Polaner Orange All Fruit, has pieces of orange peel in it, which turn into tiny candy-like bits when cooked with the syrup and molasses.  All this caramelizes on the ham in the oven.  https://shecookshecleans.net/2011/04/25/ham-with-candied-orange-glaze/

Red Pepper Dip

The ingredients are simple and yet full of flavor. Whirred up real good in a food processor until creamy, it's the perfect dip that will get you to eat your veggies. http://cupcakesomg.blogspot.com/2012/01/twofaced-red-pepper.html
