Multiple Sclerosis Friendly Recipes

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this coming week.

Spinach Dip

The dip is great for a snack, and the garlic being involved will help the patient with inflammation. Be sure to use plain Greek yogurt and dip with your favorite veggie!


Grilled Artichokes

Artichokes are most often served steamed, but grilling them adds a smoky dimension to their flavor. If you can get them, first-of-the-season baby artichokes will yield extra-tender results—double the number of artichokes and reduce the cooking time as needed.


Melon Bowl

These delicious fruits provide plenty of vitamin C. Yellow and orange-fleshed melons supply beta-carotene which seems to enhance immune function - ideal for MS-patients! Watermelon provides lycopene which seems to have protective effects against all types of cancer, including tumors of the colon, cervix and bladder.
