Multiple Sclerosis Friendly Recipes

July 29, 2016

As is customary, every Friday we will provide you with 3 easy to prepare MS friendly recipes to try this weekend.

Strawberry Lemonade Fizz

If fizzy drinks are your go to then this one’s for you. This summertime drink is a great way to cool off and enjoy a nice summer day. You’ll just need to blend up some strawberries, lemon juice and ice then add soda water into the mix and there you have it!

Taco Salad

Taco salads are hands down delicious and fun to make. Start out with your choice of meat, I recommend using something lean like ground turkey or ground chicken but lean beef would suffice as well. Season the heck out of the meat with spices like paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic and onion powder. In your salad lay down a bed of romaine lettuce then have some fun with the other ingredients. You can add in avocado, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, cilantro and use salsa for your dressing! For full instructions and ingredients check it out here, but have some fun with it!

Paleo Almond Joys

Who says eating healthy isn’t fun?? You can still enjoy the best candy bar ever by making it all by yourself. All you need is unsweetened shredded coconut, coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract, almonds (forget those if you’d rather make paleo Mounds) and some dark chocolate chips! These are great treats to either snack on or share with family and friends! Follow the recipe instructions here!
