Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber, magnesium, B6 and folate. For those of us actively fighting Multiple Sclerosis, these have anti-inflammatory properties. Also, the presence of lignans give these seeds ability to protect against breast cancer in women and against prostate cancer in men.

Nopal Omelette

Nopal is proven to be beneficial for people with diabetes. It is rich in both soluble and insoluble fibers. It is supposed to reduce your bad cholesterol and has anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in antioxidants like vitamins A and C. You could enjoy this in many forms.

Brainy Treat

Berries are low in calories, high in fiber, have vitamins like C for immune system function and for strong connective tissue, phytochemicals and flavonoids that help to prevent some forms of cancer and minerals like calcium, magnesium, folate and potassium that your body needs to function normally. Blueberries and raspberries also contain lutein, which is important for healthy vision. Enjoy any berries that are available to you but make sure they are organic.
