Did you know that mushrooms fall under foods that help with remyelination? They are an excellent source of potassium and especially good when we are on steroids. They have copper, a mineral that has cardio-protective properties. They are a rich source of riboflavin, niacin, and selenium.

Spiced Prunes

Many MS patients struggle with constipation and low levels of fiber. Eating prunes obviously goes a long way towards helping that. High levels of potassium in prunes is also beneficial for cardiovascular health, as it plays a vital role in maintaining normal levels of blood pressure and heart rate.
