Spinach and Avocado Salad

Whether it be lunch or a side salad with dinner, this recipe is MS approved and definitely fatigue reducing!

Spinach is one of the best superfoods for fighting fatigue for multiple sclerosis. These leafy greens are packed with iron, fiber and protein which are fantastic energy boosters. It also has over 13 different minerals and vitamins that fight inflammation and reduce toxins that can potentially worsen your symptoms.

While any kind of spinach salad would be beneficial for your diet when using the right ingredients, this one uses spinach, sliced avocado, chopped tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, oregano, olive oil and some sea salt. More information can be found here. 


Seared Salmon with Garlic with Broccolini and Olives

Heat up your skillet and pit some olives because this superfood-enriched entre is perfectly suitable for your MS diet and for fighting fatigue. Salmon is a fish that is extremely rich in Omega-3s which are great inflammation reducers while also increase energy, perfect for people with MS.

Sweet Potato Brownies

While brownies are by far the best desert, they’re maybe not the healthiest. This recipe happens to be just as delicious as the real deal, super healthy and MS friendly.

Sweet potatoes are proven to reduce fatigue in MS patients because of their rich beta-carotene content (this is also why the potato is orange). The potato keeps you energized, hydrated and toxin-free while clearing your body of groggy and sluggish feelings.


For the desert you’ll need sweet potato puree, avocado, unsweetened applesauce, date paste, vanilla extract, eggs, spelt flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and a dash of salt. Further baking information for the desert can be found here
